The R-T-R Knights (7-0) are one of the top teams in southwest Minnesota, out of Section 3A and the Camden South Conference. They were most recently ranked #8 in the Class 1A A.P. poll. They defeated Minneota, another Section 3A power, 49-45 on December 18.

Owls Girls Basketball Team Buries Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 74-43 in Pheasant Conference action
On the road Tuesday night, the Hancock Owls kept their high-scoring ways going with this drubbing over the Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Warriors.
Jenny Noordmans’ double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds paced the Owls (2-0, 4-0), who had three others score in double figures. Chelsey Voorhees added 16 points, Bree Holleman had 13 and Lindsie Cunningham 12.
The Owls improved to 2-0 in the Pheasant Conference and 4-0 overall.
The Warriors are 0-1 in the conference and 1-6 overall.

HANCOCK — Jenny Noordmans was credited with a triple-double after netting 16 points, pulling down 17 rebounds and pocketing 10 steals as Hancock defeated Ortonville 64-54in a Pheasant Conference girls basketball game Tuesday night.
Bree Holleman led the Owls (1-0, 3-0) in scoring with 17 points, while Chelsea Voorhees added 12 and Hannah Newhouse 10. Holleman also handed out eight assists.
