Hancock (5-1) had a 10-point lead with four minutes left, but Parkers Prairie (6-0) hit three 3-pointers to get back in the game and take control in a battle of unbeatens.
Bree Holleman netted 20 points and Lindsie Cunningham 10 for the Owls.

Owls girls basketball team grinds out a 46-38 road win at Underwood tonight
The Owls improve to 5-0 overall with this great win over the always-tough Rockets. They hit 8-of-19 shots from behind the arc and shot 36% (14/39) from the floor.
Hancock was led by Kendra Schmidgall with 11 points and Aria Walstad with 10 points. Bree Holleman added 9 points and Lindsie Cunningham had eight points.
They are next in action on Tuesday, December 23, with another road game up north to face the #10-ranked Parkers Prairie Panthers. The Panthers are also undefeated, at 4-0. That game will be a real treat!

Owls Girls Basketball overwhelms Ortonville on the home court 66-38, now 2-0 to start the season
The Owls girls basketball team will now travel to Montevideo for a non-conference clash with the Class AA Thunderhawks, who went 13-11 in 2007-2008. The Owls defeated Montevideo 61-45 last year, on January 11 in Hancock.

Owls girls basketball wins season opener, 53-41 over Dawson-Boyd on the home court
The Owls started out the season the right way, beating a good Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks team 53-41.
