The Hancock girls basketball team is now 8-1 overall. This Friday (Jan 23) the Owls travel to face once-beaten West Central Area, at the Knights' high school hardwood in Barrett.

Owls girls basketball team improves to 7-1 with 59-43 win against Henning in non-conference action on Friday night
The Owls hosted the Hornets (3-8) in Hancock on Friday night. Up next for the Owls is a home game against Central Minnesota Christian-Prinsburg (3-6) on Tuesday, January 20.
Bree Holleman led Hancock with 24 points and five assists. Lauren Nelson added 12 points and Illissa Koehl had 11.

Tuesday night, January 6...Hancock girls basketball hosts Hillcrest Lutheran Academy to start the new year
The Owls girls basketball team (5-1 overall) hosts the HLA Comets (2-3 overall) to start the new year. Last season, the Comets finished 4-21 overall, including a 71-38 loss at home to the Owls on January 28th.
