Owls girls basketball team survives first-round scare in sub-section opener, defeats Wheaton-Herman/Norcross 52-48

The Owls (18-3) trailed 36-27 at halftime before turning up the defensive pressure and overtaking the visiting Warriors (11-15 finish) in the second half.

It was a typical playoff game between two conference rivals that are very familiar with one another. In such cases, you throw the records out the window when tip-off takes place.
