Going 0-for-10 from beyond the arc tonight, the Hancock Owls girls basketball team managed 19-of-27 shooting from the charity stripe to defeat visiting Central Minnesota Christian School in a non-conference game on December 14.

Hancock girls basketball is 4-0 after a hard-fought win over West Central Area on Friday night
Overcoming a typical physical battle from West Central Area last Friday night (Dec 10), the Owls girls basketball team built a 30-23 halftime lead and held on for a 60-49 non-conference win.
The Owls (4-0) made 26-of-48 shots from the field, shooting an outstanding 54% on the night, which includes a 3-for-8 performance from three point land. They also made 5-of-7 from the foul line.
Sophomore Courtney Greiner led the Owls with 17 points and 8 rebounds.
A very good Central Minnesota Conference Christian squad comes to town on Tuesday night this week for non-conference action. The Owls travel to Ortonville for Pheasant Conference action on Thursday.

After leading 30-23 at halftime, the Hancock Owls girls basketball team put up another 30 points in the second half in a 60-49 non-conference win over West Central Area.

Hancock girls basketball finishes 22-4 overall, loses a heartbreaker to Parkers Prairie 43-42 in Sub-Section 6A-South championship
The Hancock Owls girls basketball team lost in truly heartbreaking fashion after battling with all they had in 36 minutes of action-packed playoff ball against state-ranked and heavily-favored Parkers Prairie at the University of Minnesota-Morris on March 9.
It was their third appearance in a sub-section championship game since 2007, when the Owls finished as Class A State Runners-up.

Hancock Owls girls basketball team posts its third 20-win season in the last 4 seasons, bounces Barnesville 52-38
The Hancock Owls girls basketball team improved to 20-3 overall with a 52-38 non-conference win over Barnesville (14-11) on Thursday night on the road.
Kendra Schmidgall powered the Owls’ offense with 26 points and eight rebounds.

Hancock Owls girls basketball falls in Pheasant/Little Eight Conference shootout at UMM, 67-59 loss to Parkers Prairie
The Hancock Owls (15-3) suffered only their third loss of the season at the University of Minnesota-Morris on Saturday night. Their 11-game winning streak was halted in the process.

Hancock Owls girls basketball picks up a tough road win by double digits at Minneota, 52-37 final score
The Minneota Vikings entered the game with a 12-2 record. They had just beaten a strong Marshall Tigers squad last week and had a ton of momentum coming into the game, which was hosted by the Vikings.

Hancock Owls girls basketball picks up double-digit win at Prinsburg on Thursday night
The Hancock Owls girls basketball team improved to 11-2 overall with a convincing 63-43 win over Central Minnesota Christian School. CMCS falls to 8-6 with the loss.
The Owls led 35-20 at halftime, as they shot just over 40 percent from three-point range with Schmidgall sinking three of the team’s seven treys before the break.

The Hancock Owls girls basketball team defeated the rival Warriors of Wheaton/Herman-Norcross by a 55-39 margin tonight in a game held at Wheaton.
The Warriors fall to 3-7 overall, while the Owls improve to 6-2 with the win.

Hancock Owls improve to 5-2 with convincing 58-34 win at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa
The Hancock Owls started off the new year in style with a big 58-34 over sub-section rival B-B-E on Tuesday night.
