Hancock Owls girls basketball picks up double-digit win at Prinsburg on Thursday night

The Hancock Owls girls basketball team improved to 11-2 overall with a convincing 63-43 win over Central Minnesota Christian School. CMCS falls to 8-6 with the loss.

The Owls led 35-20 at halftime, as they shot just over 40 percent from three-point range with Schmidgall sinking three of the team’s seven treys before the break.

Up next for the Owls: a Saturday matinee trip to Minneota, to battle in a 1:00pm game against the tough-as-nails 12-2 Vikings. Minneota's only losses are to a #7 state-ranked, 14-1 Canby Lancers squad.
