Up next for Hancock: The Owls travel to a very inhospitable gymnasium in Evansville on Thursday night (Dec. 3) to face the 1-0 Brandon-Evansville Chargers, who destroyed last year's Sub-Section 6AA-West champion Osakis 50-15 last night.
B/E led 30-4 at the half and held Osakis to 10.4% (5/48) shooting for the night, while holding a 37-25 edge on the boards.
Coaches' quotes after the game from Craigolsonsports.com = "We have a veteran outfit with eight seniors on the roster and four returning starters," stated head coach Dick Simpson of the Chargers. "They are a very young team and played hard, we just had too much for them to contend with."
